Toby Carvery celebrates re-opening with discounts for armed forces

The White Hart Toby Carvery, Stanway was officially re-opened on Saturday 10th February by the Mayor of Colchester, Councillor Gerard Oxford, following refurbishment.

Commenting on the restaurant’s new look, General Manager, Christopher Lennox said “We’re so pleased at how brilliant the refurbished White Hart Toby Carvery looks.  We were thrilled to have the Mayor and Mayoress of Colchester cut the ceremonial ribbon for us.  The day was really special for everyone.

“Following the big day, we’re also pleased to announce that we’ll be extending our local military discount, giving them up to 20% off when they come along and dine with us.

“This is something we’re keen to do as a way of saying thanks to our local community.  Simply show your military ID Monday to Saturday, when spending over £15 to get 20% off our delicious main meals.”

Located on London Road, Stanway, the refreshed Toby Carvery resumed serving roasts to diners after an extensive two-week refurbishment.  Following a significant investment in the restaurant 10 new jobs have been created for the local area.

The refreshed restaurant offers a family-sized feast of four slow-roasted carvery joints, freshly cooked every day alongside seasonal veg, roasties and a whole host of accompaniments.
