Trying to find a date for Valentine’s Day can be murder. Especially at the ‘Last Dates’ restaurant, where everyone’s a suspect…
On Friday 16th February, Colchester Town Hall is playing host to a dinner with a killer twist. Playing on popular Channel 4 show First Dates, the Valentine’s Murder Mystery Massacre asks guests to relax, order a cocktail… and work out whodunnit.
Couples, singles and groups alike will be able to enjoy a two-course meal alongside a performance from the renowned comedy mystery company, Moneypenny Productions.
The event, the first of it’s kind to be held at the Victorian Town Hall in Colchester, will be designed to make guests feel like true detectives, encouraging diners to solve the case as the evening progresses.
Moneypenny Productions, who is behind the Valentines evening, produce over 250 themed mystery dining events a year.
Their unique brand of live, interactive mystery theatre with hilarious consequences has previously been enjoyed by clients from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and members of the Royal Family to Sony and British Airways.
Tickets for the event will cost £40 and can be booked online. Fancy dress is not essential, but is very welcome (black-tie formalwear is suggested).
