A woman has been taken to hospital following a traffic collision in Blackberry Road, Stanway at around 9:10pm on Monday 8th January.
According to witnesses, it has been alleged the vehicle travelling along Blackberry Road collided with another vehicle exiting a driveway.
Debris was cleared from the road following the collision by local residents.
Two fire appliances and crews plus two police cars and an ambulance were in attendance.
A spokesperson for Essex Fire Service confirmed “a woman who appeared shaken up was taken to hospital” following the collision.
East of England Ambulance Service have said “We were called at 9.11pm yesterday (8th January) to an RTC [road traffic collision] in Blackberry Road, Stanway, Colchester.
“No injuries were reported, but a woman in her 40s was taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital, for precautionary checks.”
