New trampoline leisure facility set to open in StanwayEXCLUSIVE 


A new Flip Out trampoline leisure facility is set to open in the old Queensway Warehouse on Peartree Road in Stanway, Colchester.

An application for a change of use has been submitted with the local council planning services team. The 500 square metre location is hoped to be open in early 2018 creating up to 50 new jobs.

Flip Out aim to set aside one percent of the company’s turnover to provide free trampoline sessions for local schools during off-peak hours, as part of the PE
curriculum.

The Australia born company, Flip Out – are reported to be one of the fastest-growing trampoline park operators in the world, having delivered over 65 parks in 7 countries with Olympic standard trampolines and apparatus.


In other locations around the UK they offer stunt box zones, ball games, resident DJs, special events, parties, fitness sessions and classes for all ages and abilities.

The Flip Out story began in Sydney, Australia a few years ago in 2012. The company has expanded and now have 17 open locations across the UK  with 3 new leisure facilities on the way.

Colchester is one of the three new locations alongside Basingstoke and Aintree.
