United come from behind to beat Crewe.

Colchester continued to make good progress in League 2, as they came from behind to beat Crewe, 3-1 Saturday.

Bowery scored for the visitors after 22 minutes, who could and should have at least doubled their lead, in a first half they dominated, up until Colchester’s Mandron, scored the first of his brace after 39 minutes.

But after the break, Crewe’s wastefulness came back to haunt them on Halloween Weekend. Eastman on 60 minutes and the second for Mandron, ensured the U’s took the 3 points, moving to only 5 points off the play-off places in 13th spot.

The U’s are showing signs of putting a bit of form together. Only one defeat in 6 in the league, setting them up nicely for the Visit of Non-league Oxford City, Saturday, in the first round of the FA Cup.
