Cheltenham did pull one back on 56 minutes when Sam Jones lined up Kevin Dawson for Cheltenham’s first home league goal of the season.
Cheltenham were on top for most of the second half and substitute Tyrone Barnett was unlucky to shoot wide after a step over from Jacob Maddox.
