Once again the popular blue steam train and The Fat Controller are travelling to Essex’s railways this summer.
Along with Emily, Toby, Mavis and Percy, Thomas the Tank Engine will be visiting Castle Hedingham, Chappel and Wakes Colne.
Visitors will be able to meet and ride on Thomas the Tank Engine with The Fat Controller himself. The rides will run all day with the Fat Controller making sure everyone is having a good time.
Children will also be able to attain a Junior Engineer Certificate’ plus will be treated to story telling and an Imagination Station with temporary tattoos, colouring, games and play trains.
There will also be buffet Carriages serving hot and cold food and refreshments.
The events are taking place at the following locations:
Castle Hedingham, Braintree
September 22,23 & 29,30.
Chappel and Wakes Colne Station, Wakes Colne
December 9, 15-16, 22-23
Adults are advised to buy tickets well in advance.
Adult tickets cost £14 and tickets for children aged two to 15 cost £10. Children under two go free.
Family tickets are also available – £44 for two adults and two children.
