Greater Anglia have advised passengers services this Sunday evening (17th June) have been disrupted due to overhead electric wire damage near Kelvedon.
Due to the damage, Greater Anglia report there are currently no trains running between Colchester and Witham.

The operator has advised disruption is expected until the end of the day (Sunday, 17th June).
In a statement on Twitter, the company said: “Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between Marks Tey and Witham all lines are blocked.
“Services running through these stations have been cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.”
The rail operator expects services to be running as normal for tomorrow morning rush hour (Monday 18th June) adding: “We expect to run a normal service tomorrow but would recommend checking for further updates on our website.”
20:25 – Greater Anglia say: “Train services are now beginning to run on one line through the affected area.”
06:35 – Greater Anglia say: “Disruption caused by damage to the overhead electric wires between Marks Tey and Witham has ended.”
